Acqivest ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit acqivest.co or use the Acqivest platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect (a) information you provide directly — name, email, business profile, financial inputs to our valuation/credit-risk tools, DealScore SBA inputs, transaction history, communications; (b) information collected automatically — device data, IP address, log files, cookies/similar tracking technologies, product analytics (PostHog) for usage patterns; and (c) information from third parties — lending partners, credit bureaus (with your consent), listing aggregators, and the Resend email service provider.
We use information to operate the Service (match buyers with sellers, compute DealScore, run the Three Tools, generate transactional emails), to verify identity and prevent fraud, to comply with legal obligations, to improve product quality, and (with your consent) to send marketing communications. We never sell your personal information.
We share information with: (a) verified counterparties in your active engagements (with PII masking until NDA execution); (b) Acqivest Partner Network advisors when you request an introduction; (c) service providers under contract (Resend for email, MongoDB Atlas, AWS, Cloudflare, etc.); (d) law enforcement when required by valid legal process; and (e) successors in connection with corporate transactions. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
We use first-party cookies for authentication (httpOnly), session management, and product analytics. You can manage cookie preferences from the cookie banner shown on first visit and at any time via the "Cookies" link in the footer. Essential cookies (authentication, security) cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.
We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS 1.2+ for all data in transit, bcrypt password hashing, JWT-based sessions, MongoDB Atlas encryption-at-rest, and cryptographic hashing (SHA-256) for revenue verification + NDA signatures. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to: access your personal data, request correction, request deletion, restrict processing, port your data, and withdraw consent. Email privacy@acqivest.co to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.
The Service is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, contact us immediately.
Acqivest is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand and consent that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or a prominent banner on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect.
